Experience Summary:
Made a trip to Thailand to attend the International Conference on Innovative Research and Development (ICIRD 2024) held at Metharath (Shinawatra) University, Pathum Thani, Thailand. Prof. Subhendu Bhattacharya along with Dr. Pushpendu Rakshit represented Pillai Institute of Management, Navi Mumbai and India. It was an Indo-Thai collaborative event jointly organised by Metharath University, Thailand, Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal and Savitha College of Liberal Arts & Science, Kuthambakkam, Tamil Nadu. A research paper was presented on the topic ‘Digital Economy with Beneficial Aspects and Downside Difficulty in India’. We were a session chair for a technical session and reviewed the book of research papers published with an ISBN number.
There was the workshop also to attend to gain insights on ‘Impact of AI on Education’. and ‘Impact of AI on Publishing Industry’.
We both received felicitations for all of my academic contributions.
There was a wonderful opportunity to discuss the academic program and progress with Prof. Zhou Fei, President of Metharath University, Thailand. I had extensive discussion with Dr. Chanya, Associate Professor, Metharath University, Thailand on the prospect of higher studies in Thailand and participation of international students at several university courses in South East Asia. We interacted with numerous academic stalwarts in this great erudite congregation. It was a truly enriching and enlightening experience.
