Master of Management Studies (MMS) Program Overview

The MMS course is a flagship programme offered by the University of Mumbai and is equivalent to an MBA degree. The objective of the programme is to provide participants with the opportunity to pursue a career in diverse industry domains and to acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes that will lay a strong foundation for student’s growth and development as responsible future leaders.

The curriculum has been designed to enable the participants to develop a thorough knowledge of the basic concepts and techniques of modern Management. Further, it aims to develop critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.

MMS is a two year full time programme, comprising of semester based pattern.

In take: 180 seats

Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or equivalent from a recognized University in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Candidates in their final year can also apply.

Course Structure: Semester based pattern comprising four semesters of 6 months duration each.

Qualifying Exam:
Selection is through Common Entrance Test (CET) and centralized admission process of (Directorate of Technical Education) DTE. The students have to appear for the CET followed by group discussion and interview. The aggregate score for these is considered for admission in MMS course.

A student should appear for any one of the following entrance examination*:

  • MH-CET
  • CAT
  • C-MAT

*Any other competitive exam applicable as per the prescribed norms of DTE prior to admissions.
