Life Skills (Yoga, Physical Fitness, Health and Hygiene)

Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research in association with Heart fullness conducts meditation sessions for all the students of management in the auditorium. Such sessions are conducted in the second week of August every year. Practitioners of ‘The Heartfulness Way’ of meditation guide our students about the potential life-changing approach. Through these sessions students are sensitized about the benefits of meditation. They are informed that spending even a few minutes in meditation can restore calm and inner peace. Anyone can practice meditation. It’s simple and inexpensive, and it doesn’t require any special equipment and we can practice meditation wherever you are — whether you’re out for a walk, riding the bus, waiting at the doctor’s office or even in the middle of a difficult business meeting. These days, meditation is commonly used for relaxation and stress reduction and enhanced physical and emotional well-being.
