Learning & Retention Skills Workshop

The Social Service Committee of Pillai Institute of Management Studies & Research as part of endeavor of Social Service Committee under Project Pankh 2023-24 under the volunteering of MMS students, conducted Learning & Retention Skills Workshop for 6th & 7th standard students of Zillah Parishad School, Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi on 7th August, 2023.

These Learning & Retention Skills Workshop was aimed at improving kids learning and retention skills, help children to strengthen their concentration, boosting their self-esteem, enhancing creativity, improving eye hand coordination and encouraging social interaction. The Workshop was attended by 85 students from 6th & 7th standard. The workshop was filled with lot of excitement, along with thrills, spirit and cheers from the students.

There were four Brain game activities conducted by PIMSR MMS students’ viz., “Word Puzzle” game where the students explored new words to improve their vocabulary of English language. Other three Brain game activities were, Chocolate sourcing from cups, Opposite Action coordination and Action response synchronization. The four winners of these activities were appreciated and felicitated by PIMSR MMS students with chocolates and applause.

This activity was huge success and was much appreciated by the Zillah Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School faculty and their students. PIMSR MMS students too learnt the about their relationship with the communities they engage with, their capacity for serving others, refining their decision-making abilities to acquire other career-related skills, to be empathic and responsible citizenship and to grow in their awareness and thereby respect cultural differences and diversity.

Under the flagship of PIMSR’s Social Service Committee, Project Pankh 2023-24, “The Learning & Retention Skills Workshop unfolded conducted by our compassionate MMS students: Ms. Tejal Araban, Ms. Payal Ghase, Mr. Yash Pawar, Ms. Nelby Johnson and Ms. Sherin Selvin.
