The Internal Quality Assurance Cell & Department of Business of Pillai College of Arts, Commerce & Science (Autonomous), New Panvel, organised the International Seminar on “Enriching Academic Experience for Faculty of Pillai Group of Institutions” on 7th August, 2023 from 11:30 am onwards. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Samir Karkhanis, CEO of Yangpoo Executive Education and Former Chief Marketing Officer of Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai and Mr. Kiran Surti. The Session focussed on how to bring academic rigour, interaction and engagement in the classroom by improving teaching techniques to develop corporate-ready students, how to develop tomorrow’s leaders through engaging business education, improve the practice of management and its impact on a changing world and educating leaders who will make a difference in the world. The key takeaways of the seminar were how to gain the respect of students by teaching more effectively, introducing innovative teaching tools like case studies & simulations from Harvard Business School and latest corporate readiness solutions to groom students. 19 faculty members of PIMSR attended the same.
