Learning through Fun activities Workshop

The Project PANKH 2023-24 under the Social Service Committee an endeavor initiated by Pillai Institute of Management Studies & Research, New Panvel. The PIMSR MMS student volunteers conducted a Learning through Fun activities Workshop for 7th standard students of the Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi on 10th August, 2023.

The objective of Learning through Fun activities Workshop was to make students reflect upon their learning and to ascertain progression towards outcomes, to cultivate team spirit and to build confidence into the students. The activities undertaken through this Workshop unfolded with the activities to integrate left & right brain coordination. The Fun activities viz: picking cups with the help of balloons, guess the animal by imitating them, etc. were hugely enjoyed by the students, they felt refreshed and were enthusiastic with a sense of fulfilment. The Learning through Fun activities Workshop was great success with the students as well as the teachers of the Podi School.

The winners of the Learning through Fun activities Workshop were felicitated with chocolates and with roar of applause. The PIMSR MMS students were immensely appreciated by the Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School faculty.

The Learning through Fun activities Workshop encouraged collaboration boosting productivity and an opportunity for Volunteers to work together, share ideas, and collaborate on projects. By participating in these activities, MMS students got an opportunity to practice leadership skills such as communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.

The PIMSR MMS students learnt through volunteering their time, to support a cause that they are passionate about, to enrich their life, to familiarize with the community, and to connect to people and ideas that positively impact their perspective for the rest of their life. Helping the community is an opportunity for them to grow as a person, to better understand how they fit into the world around them. Thus enabling them to become good human being and therefore effective leaders in the future!

Under the flagship of PIMSR’s Social Service Committee, Project Pankh 2023-24, “Learning through Fun activities Workshop” unfolded conducted by our compassionate MMS students: Ms. Sakshi Shetty, Ms. Saloni Kanekar, Ms. Aishwarya Jadhav, Ms. Poonam Chauhan and Mr. Sairaj Tambe.
