As the part of the project “PANKH” 2023-24, the Social Service Committee conducted a Session focusing on basic and fundamental Elementary English Language and communication Skills among the 6th and 7th grade students from Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School in Podi. On 23rd November, 2023 a Session on “Upgrading the English Writing & Conversation Skills” was conducted by the Social Service Committee volunteers of PIMSR MMS 1st and 2nd year students.
The session covered experiential learning abilities like, to improve students reading skills, to develop student’s confidence in spoken English and to improve their overall oral & written communication skills.
The session commenced by revising few basic topics like, practicing reading skills from previous session and then learning to utilize articles in sentences using relevant examples. After the revision, students were taught usage of plurals and nouns in English language. At the end of the session PIMSR SSC student’s team conducted communication game in the class. The exercises was designed to enhance the vocabulary, reading, listening and communication skills were all the class students participated and had lots of fun while learning!
The session was conducted by PIMSR MMS students Ms. Sakshi Shetty, Ms. Shruti Shinde, Mr. Joemon Chandrahasan and Mr. Akash Issac.
