As a part of its IIC outreach activities in the nearby communities, Innovation Ambassadors Dr. Shaheda Sheikh and Dr. Celina Joy visited KLE Society’s Science & Commerce College affiliated to the University of Mumbai and located at Sector 1, Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai- 4.
They conducted a meeting with Dr. Sumant Sovani, the Vice Principal of KLE Society and BMS Department Head, Prof. Pallavi Mirgal. Dr. Sheikh and Dr. Joy spoke about the benefits of establishing the Institution Innovation Council at KLE and promised assistance to help them with the same. The Vice-Principal requested the PIMSR team to conduct a session for the students on the importance of entrepreneurship. They also discussed signing an MOU between both colleges to start this collaboration. The next meeting was scheduled in August 2023.
