PIMSR’s Research and Development Committee (PRDC) organized a one day Faculty Development Program on “New Age Teaching Learning” on Monday, 26th June, 2023. The resource person was Dr. R Chandran, Director, PIMSR. The program started with opening remarks from Dr Chandran who stressed on the importance of a new age pedagogy for engaging management students. He said that faculty members must be updated with the technological advancements taking place in the education industry to effectively impart knowledge and engage students. Dr. Chandran also touched upon the NEP 2020 and its guidelines on teaching learning practices. The program was attended by 18 faculty members who were also asked to discuss the pedagogy they adopt while handling various courses. Each faculty then proceeded to give a short presentation on the topics and teaching methods they would be covering in the Academic Year 2023-24
