This session was conducted on 24th November, 2022 as a part of the first year MMS orientation program. Mr. Sagar Chandni in this session explained that expectations versus reality of work places were very different and that students must develop an entrepreneurial mind frame. He encouraged students to experiment in their first 2 years with different business plan ideas. He informed that students must create draft business plans which can be pitched to different stakeholders.
He informed students that with the ecosystem in India shifting from a job-seeking one to a job-creating one there is a higher impetus for students getting into entrepreneurship. The government and other allied institutions are providing incentives to young entrepreneurs who are starting their business ventures. 181 students from the MMS program attended this session. They were enthused to get into entrepreneurship. Mr. Chandni also discussed few of the skill sets and attitudes that are essential for entrepreneurship. 181 students and 3 faculty members attended the session.
