A Summer Internship Project (SIP) Orientation Session was conducted on 8th April 2026 at the Pillai Auditorium, organized by the Pillai’s Research Department/Research Monitoring Committee. The session was attended by MBA (Batch 2025-2027) 236 Students. The objective of the session was to provide students with a clear understanding of the expectations, responsibilities, and professional conduct required during their summer internships.

Dr. Betty Sibil addressed the students and emphasized the significance of maintaining professionalism, discipline, and ethical behavior throughout the internship period. She highlighted that student’s act as representatives of the institution in the corporate environment, and therefore, their conduct directly reflects on the reputation of the college.

She further informed the students about the available support system during the internship and advised them to approach the appropriate authorities in case of any concerns or challenges. The three designated points of contact include the Faculty Guide, the Placement Cell, and the Corporate Guide.

Additionally, Dr. Betty Sibil clearly stated that any complaints received from the organization regarding a student’s behavior or performance would be treated with utmost seriousness and may adversely impact their final placement opportunities.

The session was highly informative and provided valuable insights into the professional expectations and responsibilities associated with the successful completion of the Summer Internship Project.
