Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research in collaboration with SIBC launched Project PANKH in 2023. The project is a series of workshops for empowering teachers and students of the Zilla Parishad school, Gyanjyoti Savitribai Phule Shala, Podi 2, New Panvel. This project will be driven by the students and faculty members as a community development initiative. The beneficiaries studying in the school come from marginalised and migrant communities in and around Panvel. The project is an effort to strengthen their academic learnings with sessions that build their holistic development through fun and creativity. Sessions on work life balance, stress management and new methods of teaching will be conducted for the faculty.
As a part of the project, a session for teachers on the topic – “Work Life Balance” was conducted on 27th June at 3.30 pm. All the 8 teachers of the school attended the session. The session was conducted by Prof. Krushna R. Sawant, Faculty at the Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research. The session covered the reasons for stress in the workplace and ways to mitigate the same. It was an interactive action and the teachers participated wholeheartedly.
