PIMSR on the occasion of Silver Jubilee celebration, showcased a magical event on 9th December, 2023 namely ‘MILAAP – 25th Anniversary Celebration’ held at the exquisite iLeaf Grand Banquets in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. It served as a congregation for PIMSR Management, Professors, Teachers and Alumni, bringing them together to define MILAAP’s journey for the future.
The event commenced with a meet and greet over refreshing mocktails, providing an opportunity for alumni, faculty and students to socialize and reconnect. The casual networking session allowed passed-out students to engage in conversations, showcasing the institution’s pride in their achievements in the corporate and entrepreneurial arenas. Senior alumni from the 1st batch onwards graced the occasion, contributing to the positive atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. K. M. Vasudevan, Chairman and CEO, MES, Dr. Daphne Pillai, Secretary, MES and Dr. R. Chandran, Executive Director, PIMSR shared the institution’s journey and success. MILAAP was defined as a beacon of hope and inspiration for current students, reflecting on the institution’s role in shaping the lives of its alumni.
From a very humble beginning the institution was able to touch the lives of countless students by developing their competencies and confidence required to be a “Corporate Professional” but an individual of repute, character and honesty. This has been one of the USP for the PIMSR to mushroom into a well-known management institution across Mumbai / Navi Mumbai.
PIMSR proudly announced its achievement of receiving the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) A+ grade on this occasion, signifying the institution’s commitment to excellence in education, infrastructure, faculty, and overall academic standards.
The unveiling ceremony of a specially designed logo commemorating the institution’s glorious 25 years of existence was inaugurated by Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai and Dr. Daphne Pillai who were the architects of Mahatma Education Society. The logo represents the institution’s journey, growth and achievements over the years, symbolizing its resilience, progress and commitment to quality education.
A ceremonial cutting of a specially crafted cake depicting the celebratory theme of “25 Glorious Years of PIMSR.” The cake design featured the institution’s emblem, significant milestones, elements representing the journey and success of PIMSR over the past 25 years followed by group photographs.
The iLeaf Grand Banquets was aglow with glamour as guests adorned themselves in stunning “Shine & Shimmer” attire which was our MILAAP’s theme for the event. The night unfolded with mesmerizing performances by our students, captivating live music and contagious dance beats that created an atmosphere of pure joy and celebration.

Awards were presented for excellence in various fields by recognizing outstanding contributions, achievements of alumni associated with the institution. A dance session featuring nostalgic music from the past, aiming to evoke memories and emotions, encouraging each one of us to reminisce together. A jamming music session where attendees, including alumni musicians, participated in creating impromptu music or performances, adding an element of spontaneity and entertainment. Engaging activities and games were organized to encourage interaction, teamwork, and exhilaration among attendees, enhancing the overall experience of the event. Indulgence took centre stage with a sumptuous gala dinner, a culinary journey featuring a delightful fusion of cuisines.
As we enjoyed the lovely evening, we felt inspired and motivated for the upcoming year and beyond. We aim to closely connect with these alumni, not just to learn about the details of the marketplace, but also to enhance the skills of our students at PIMSR. Together, we imagine a future filled with kindness, togetherness and positive improvements that will keep making a difference in the lives of individuals and communities. Your memories and experiences from this celebration are a treasure that we hold so close to us.
The Vote of Thanks expressed deep gratitude to all attendees, volunteers and contributors for their participation, support and efforts in making the event a great success. The presence of everyone added indescribable richness to the event, making it a night to be cherished. The event concluded with a lively DJ session, providing music for everyone to enjoy, marking a relaxed and enjoyable end to the alumni meet.
The essence of this Alumni Meet holds a significant place in the hearts and minds of PIMSR as we have slowly nurtured and built the competencies of our students but developed this magnificent institution beyond dreams. With the strong support of our Alumni, PIMSR desires knowledge sharing, professional development opportunities, guiding the existing students on rolls. Regular Alumni meet and interaction shall also serve as a resource pool for career guidance, industry exposure, and alumni contributions. Strengthening the alumni network, fostering emotional connections, and enhancing the institution’s reputation are additional benefits of such events.
