Inauguration ceremony of the MMS batch 2023-2025 was organized by PIMSR on 26th August, 2023 from 09:00 a.m. onwards in the campus auditorium. 148 students and 15 faculty members were present for the event. The event started with lighting the lamp and invoking the blessings of goddess Saraswati with a soulful rendition of the Saraswati Vandana accompanied by a melodious flute. Further the event proceeded with a motivational address by Dr. R. Chandran – Executive Director – PiMSR. The chief guest, Mr. Sachin Phansikar – COO – Business Standard and the guest of honour, Mr. Kartik Annamalai – Deputy Vice President – HDFC Bank graced the audience by sharing their valuable experience and critical insights which would be beneficial for the students in their journey ahead. Mr. Phansikar spoke about the importance of professionalism as the students embarked on the management studies journey. He encouraged the students to be creative and have a curiosity mindset. Mr. Annamalai recalled his experience of the MMS program as an alumni and encouraged students to be participative in all events and activities and be a lifelong learner.
Dr. Shaheda Sheikh, MMS Co-ordinator guided the students about the MMS programme and an expected code of conduct to be followed by them. The students were also introduced to the faculty members and various committees. Prof. Anuja Menkar shared the schedule for the M2OP sessions commencing from 28th August, 2023. Finally the event concluded with a vote of thanks delievered by the students. The program Co-ordinators for the first year students are Dr. Shaheda Sheikh, Prof. Anuja Menkar and Prof. Himanshu Vaidya.
