The Alumni Committee of Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research, Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus, New Panvel, hosted a significant event on 26th August, 2023, with the aim of enhancing alumni connections and camaraderie.
The event commenced with a meet and greet session, followed by a delightful lunch at 12:30 pm, where alumni had the chance to reconnect with fellow alumni and faculty members.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Milaap banner, symbolizing the institute’s strong ties with its alumni community. The ceremony took place in the Auditorium in the presence of the new batch of MMS students. A substantial number of alumni attended, underscoring the significance of the event. The program also featured video testimonials from a few alumni, showcasing their journeys and experiences.
Dr. Daphne Pillai, Secretary of Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Group of Institutions, unveiled the MILAAP banner, which announced the upcoming Grand Alumni Meet on December 9, 2023, at Ileaf Banquets, Vashi. She shared insightful remarks, highlighting the institute’s growth and commitment to alumni success. Prof. Anish Pillai also spoke, sharing his wisdom and experiences, which resonated deeply with the attending alumni.
The nostalgia of their past and the institute’s role in shaping their lives was palpable among the alumni, creating a sense of unity and gratitude.

During the event, the winner of the tagline contest was announced, adding a touch of friendly competition and creativity to the gathering.
