Essay Competition to commemorate International Women’s Day

Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research organized an Essay Competition on 7th March 2020, to commemorate International Women’s Day which is observed every year on 8th March, 2020. The event was primarily to sensitize the students and staff about the need for women empowerment and gender parity. The event was also dedicated to celebrate women’s achievements in the social, economic, political and cultural spheres. The event saw participation from students across colleges in campus. Sneha Suresh of MMS 1st Year was declared the winner and three consolation prizes were awarded to students of various other colleges.
