On 22nd April, 2022, the Finance Club of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research hosted a workshop on Virtual Trading led by ICICI Direct for all management students. The workshop provided information about Stock Mind, a platform where students can simulate trading with a virtual capital of Rs. 15 lakh on approximately 100 stocks listed in the equity segment. Mr. Shubham Chourey, Marketing Manager at ICICI Securities, was the speaker at the event. He has extensive market experience and shared his knowledge of mutual fund trading with the students. The workshop began with an explanation of the significance of SIPs and how they differ from other investment options. The discussion also focused on how to build wealth through a proper investment strategy. Several ICICI direct features were also explained through website navigation that gave in depth knowledge about how ICICI direct works The session concluded with a Q&A round for the students.
