A Workshop on “How to plan for Startups; Legal and Ethical Steps” was conducted on 4th March, 2022 for aspiring student entrepreneurs at Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research. The resource person for the talk was serial entrepreneur, Mr. K. P. Gopal. He shared his journey of entrepreneurship with the students. He spoke about the various enterprises he started and the failures he experienced in some of them. He encouraged students to have a drive and passion for starting their own businesses and not to be afraid of failure. He spoke about the legal and ethical steps while starting a business. Every business should have a strong sense of purpose with a simple and inspiring vision and mission. The various social media tools that were freely available were also discussed. Around 220 students and faculty attended the session. It was an interactive session and was appreciated by all.
