The Research and Monitoring Committee, organized a seminar on Company Analysis Frameworks in Management Research on Friday, 4th June, 2021. This session was organised to help students research and identify the internal factors of a company that have an impact on its overall functioning and that lead to the competitive advantage that they possess. The Company Analysis frameworks that were covered as a part of this seminar were SWOT analysis and Mckinsey’s 7S Framework. These frameworks are of relevance to young entrepreneurs and managers in researching areas and in aligning activities of their future organizations. Knowledge of these frameworks will help them attain higher levels of alignment with respect to internal factors that affect organizational performance. Better alignment of internal factors can also be a source of sustained competitive advantage for their organizations in future. The session was conducted by Dr. Celina Joy and Dr. Betty Sibil and it was well received by students. The session was attended by 164 students and 11 faculty.
