The Research and Monitoring Committee, organized a seminar on Industry Analysis Frameworks in Management Research on Wednesday, 2nd June, 2021. This session was organised to sharpen the research acumen of students when it comes to identifying the environmental factors that have an effect on conduct of any business. The Industry Analysis frameworks that were covered as a part of this seminar were PESTEL analysis and Porter’s Five Forces model. These frameworks are of relevance to young entrepreneurs and managers in researching areas in which they wish to start their own businesses/careers. Knowledge of these frameworks will help them navigate through turbulent external environments that are an integral part of business. The session was conducted by Dr. C. K. Sreedharan and Prof. Balashankar Ramadas and was well received by students. The session was attended by 158 students and 14 faculty.
