The Finance Club of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research organized a Workshop on “Basics of Trading in Stock Market Applying Technical Analysis” for all the management students on 23rd March, 2022. The speaker at the event was Mr. Kunal Subhash Patil. He has been an active trader in the market and brings along with him experience of trading using technical analysis. The workshop began its course by busting all the myths of trading stocks, explaining in detail about the financial markets, the basics of trading and the different types of live charts, indicators which gave all the students an insight of the stock market and how it performs. The discussion was also directed to the current trends and why people lose their money while investing in the stock market. Participants could also witness some live stock trading with charting patterns and indicators which help them understand all the terms even better. The session concluded with a Q&A round for the students.
