Talk on “Corporate Governance – For Managers & Entrepreneurs”

The Pillai Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship organised a Talk on “Corporate Governance – For Managers & Entrepreneurs” for the students of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research on 14th September, 2017 at Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus. The talk was delivered by Mr. Sundharesan Jayamoorthi, ECG Specialist, Founder and Chief Advisor, J. Sundaresan and Associates (Governance and Compliance Advisors). Mr. Jayamoorthi focussed on the importance of a clear understanding of governance issues for business management students and budding entrepreneurs. He spoke about the risks and implications of not having a clean and clear system of governance in place while starting a new organisation. The students interacted with the speaker and it was an enriching session for all.
