Introduction:
The Students Management Games 2024 is a regional level competition conducted by AIMA in collaboration with Chanakya between 12th to 15th February, 2024 aimed to enhance the skills and competencies of participants in the field of Management imparted through a Business Simulation Game.
Program Overview:
The four day program was structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of effective training methodologies, instructional design, and delivery techniques of Business Simulation Games in various management functions. Everyday the participants was put into different situation by giving them inputs in the form of case studies.
Key Objectives:
- Equip participants with the latest market scenario and challenges in a simulated environment of managing the business and taking decisions.
- Enhance participants’ skills in engaging and managing diverse business fields.
- Foster an understanding of learning and handling problems in the field of business, up-skill their knowledge by practically applying theoretical knowledge in reality by their application through virtual games.
Program Agenda:
- To get hand on experience of the Simulation games
- To enhance various management related concepts
- To understand the software and games of Business Simulation
- To learn the rules of the game and play in simulated environment
- To participate, play and win regional level competition and get selected for National level competition
Day 1: 12th February, 2024
- Introduction to Games to PIMSR Students
- Discussion on Various Management Function
- Providing Training to the Participants
Day 2: 13th February, 2024
- Introduction to Games to Regional level participants
- Total 31 teams from various colleges participated out of total participants team of 59 on day 1 of prelim 1 round
- 10 teams were selected for regional level finale, rest were eliminated
- The selected teams played on 4th day in Regional Final
Day 3: 14th February, 2024
- Introduction to Games to Regional level participants
- Total 28 teams from various colleges participated out of total participants team of 59 on day 1 of prelim 1 round
- 8 teams were selected for regional level finale, rest were eliminated
- The selected teams played on 4th day in Regional Final
Day 4: 15th February, 2024
- Total 18 qualified teams from various colleges played for winning the regional finale
- 6 teams were selected for playing National level semifinal and if they win then final also which is to be held in Delhi in April 2024
- The winner were announced
- They were given trophies and Certificates
- Participation Certificate were given to all the participants
Trainer and Facilitator:
The program was led by seasoned trainer in the field of education and corporate training, Tyagi Sir from Chanakya. Notable speaker was Ashu Sikriand Pradeep Kumar from AIMA. The Program was held offline at MES Campus in Auditorium Hall.
Participant Feedback:
Feedback was collected from the participants at the end of each session. Overall, participants expressed satisfaction and was hopeful in getting chance to participate again. Some common positive feedback included:
- Appreciation for the practical examples and case studies used in sessions.
- Recognition of the trainers’ expertise and engaging delivery style.
- Requests for more in-depth sessions on specific topics.
Conclusion:
The AIMA Biz Lab and Chanakya Student Management Games 2024 was well-received by the participants. It effectively covered a wide range of learning and provided valuable insights into enhancing their knowledge and understanding.
Recommendations:
Based on participant feedback, future programs could consider more of such events.
