Ms. Nidhi Bagaria, Founder of The Creative World conducted a Session on “Learning Management Through Storytelling” for the students pursuing Management studies at PiMSR on 1st September, 2023 at 11.30 a.m. 169 students attended the very engaging and enriching session. Ms. Nidhi Bagaria is a Masters in Commerce from University of Mumbai and specializes in Organizational Behaviour and Entrepreneurship Management. Her passion lies in interacting and training young minds. Apart from being a Teacher trainer, an Educator, Mentor she is also an amazing storyteller, mentored by Eric Miller, Director of World Storytelling Institute. Following her mentor’s footsteps, she has founded The Creative World. She believes stories travel far and wide carrying their wisdom and spreading their magic to whoever the story meets with and continues to do so for over 17 years now. She has been conducting workshops for several schools, colleges, NGOs, book stores. She has also participated in various Storytelling and Literature festivals like the Lulu fest in Kochi and Kala Ghoda Arts fest, as well as holds online workshops for children and adults across different countries.
Ms. Nidhi Bagaria explained how storytelling is a part of our daily life and how every story can have different perspectives. The interactive session led by her enlisted student’s active participation in the various exercises she conducted as part of her session. She spoke about the importance of keenly listening to the stories which will help them understand their own potential. She encourages students to go beyond their limits and strive for excellence. The event concluded with heartfelt gratitude and felicitation of the guest by Prof. Anuja Menkar.
