Speaker- Mr. Vinay Kirloskar, Ex Vice President (HR & Admin), Reliance Industries, Nagotane conducted a Session on “Importance of Management Education for a Successful Career” for the newly joined MMS students of PiMSR at the Campus Auditorium on 28th August, 2023 at 10 a.m. 161 students attended the session. Mr. Vinay Kirloskar, a distinguished HR veteran, boasts an impressive 42-year journey, marked by pivotal leadership roles in esteemed organisations like Reliance Industries, Sir H. N. Hospital and Research Centre, Terene Fibres, Blow Plast Ltd and Menon and Menon Ltd. His expertise spans Strategic Planning, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Organisational Culture Development, and Data-driven Decision-making.
In his session, Mr. Kirloskar explained the intricacies of the human mind’s psychology and stressed the need for additional skills to foster future career growth. Mr. Kirloskar encouraged students to think about their purpose of pursuing management studies and their goals of achieving success in their careers. He further explained that the overall perspective developed in the two years with inputs on various subjects will help students to get a 360 degree view of the corporate sector. The interactive session saw students engage with him, gaining insights into his remarkable journey, the challenges he surmounted, and the values he deemed crucial for budding management students.
