Dr. Latha Shetty, Founder of MainstreaM HRD Training Centre conducted a session on Good to Great for the students pursuing management studies at PiMSR on 5th September, 2023. Dr. Latha Shetty is a B.Sc., M.S.W. and Ph.D from Tata Institute of Social Science. She is the founder of MainstreaM HRD Training Centre and has conducted more than 50,000 batches in over 140 companies and organizations with 23 years of industry experience. She has worked as Head of Welfare Department in Godrej & Boyce for 4 years. She began the session by explaining the importance of having the right attitude. She also explained how to do smart work and how to build lifelong learning attitude, collaborative attitude, striving for excellence & many more. She gave examples on cultivating a global (global plus local) mindset. The interactive session saw students engage with her, gaining insights into her remarkable journey, the challenges she surmounted, and the values she deemed crucial for budding management students. The session ended with a round of questions for the speaker. Overall it was an engaging session and appreciated by the students.
