Pillai University signs Memorandum of Understanding with GovEVA for launching Management Programs in ESG
Pillai University, with a 55-year legacy of providing authentic education, with a vibrant campus home to 30000 students, announced the launch of Management education programs in ESG (Environment, Social and Governance), in collaboration with GovEVA, a leading entity engaged in helping organisations with improving their ESG performance, which is becoming increasingly critical for an organisation’s growth and stakeholder interest.
The MoU was signed at the Pillai University campus between Dr. R. Chandran, Director, Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (https://pimsr.ac.in/) and Mr. Jangoo Dalal, Founder & CEO of GovEVA (https://goveva.com).
In his address Dr. Chandran elaborated the importance of ESG and how it can make a difference to the company as well as the society.
Mr. Jangoo Dalal explained in detail the evolving ESG challenges of organisations, including a shortage of ESG talent at various levels, and how MBAs with ESG education can help address these challenges while charting a satisfying career for themselves.
The students showed great enthusiasm for the new programs.
