Dr. Betty Sibil and Dr. Celina Joy, Innovation Ambassadors of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research conducted an Interactive Session on “Orientation on Entrepreneurship” for the students of Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce on 16th September, 2021. It was conducted to orient the students about the importance of Entrepreneurship. They gave various examples of various business ideas that have today become successful ventures. They also explained the various schemes available for students by the government. They were familiarised with the various portals of the Ministry of Education. Facilities available at the campus (co-working spaces, 3D printers, Research Lab etc.) for students to pursue entrepreneurial activities were also explained. The various aspects of the newly launched Business Plan Competition and the steps to participate in the same were explained. The session was attended by 129 students and 5 faculty members.
