In its ongoing efforts to be socially responsible, Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research, Panvel, in collaboration with Isha Foundation, observed World Earth Day on 22nd April, 2022. The Social Service Committee welcomed volunteers from the Isha Foundation, who spoke about the ‘Save Soil’ movement, which was launched by Indian spiritual leader Sadhguru to address land degradation and advocate for healthy soil. The event was organized to draw attention to the environment and raise awareness among the community about the various threats to our habitat. This is the day when we are supposed to focus on environmental issues ranging from air pollution to climate change. The event was attended in large numbers by management students and faculty.
