The Finance Club of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research hosted a guest session on 25th September, 2024, for the students of first-year M.M.S. Hitesh Vyas, assistant editor of The Indian Express, conducted a highly informative and engaging session on “Intelligent Investing: A Path to Financial Independence.”.

Mr. Vyas began his presentation by interacting with the students about the investments. He differentiated between saving and investing, discussing the benefits of investing for long-term financial objectives, and outlined various investment options like stocks, mutual funds, and gold.
Throughout his talk, he gave insightful examples and highlighted the importance of mutual funds, personal finance management, and disciplined investing.
The session concluded with a Q&A session, where Mr. Vyas patiently answered questions from the audience. His expertise and engaging presentation style made the event a resounding success.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Prasenjit K. Yesambare and Dr. Shaheda Sheikh. Ms. Gopika Menon, Ms. Hritika Barola, Mr. Jayasankar Nair and Ms. Amrutha Nair were the student volunteers from Second Year M.M.S. (Finance).
