Family Managed Business Day

The students of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research actively participated in the celebration of Family Managed Business Day on 18th August, 2017 with a Talk on “Lessons for Professional Managers from Family Managed Businesses” at Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus. The talk was delivered by Prof. Parimal Merchant, Founder of the Asian Institute of Family Managed Business (AIFMB). The talk was organised in association with the Pillai Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and AIFMB. Mr. Parimal Merchant spoke about his experiences of family managed businesses in various countries and extolled students to use the opportunity to help out in their own family businesses and learn from the experiences of their parents and grandparents.
