The Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PiMSR) celebrated Community Service Day on January 25th, 2025, at the Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus in New Panvel, with children from the Zilla Parishad Gyandeep Savitribai Phule Podi Shala as special guests. The event was a heartwarming blend of joy, creativity, and meaningful interactions, leaving everyone with lasting memories.
The day began with a warm welcome for the children, who were greeted with chocolates as a gesture of kindness. The children then showcased their remarkable talents through solo and group dance performances, filling the atmosphere with energy and excitement.
After a lively performance session, a lunch break allowed everyone to relax before the afternoon activities. The post-lunch session included fun-filled games, where participants earned exciting prizes, spreading joy throughout the event. A special addition to the day was the Gratitude Wall, where students shared thoughtful messages and advice, fostering positivity and reflection.
A creative Drawing Session followed, allowing the children to express their artistic abilities. Their colorful and imaginative artwork captivated everyone, adding to the day’s vibrancy. PIMSR’s faculty also joined the drawing session, interacting with the children and sharing in the enjoyment. They were treated to another round of impressive dance performances, leaving all in awe of the children’s talents.
To conclude the day, each child received a snack box and a thoughtful gift, a token of PIMSR’s kindness and affection. As the event wrapped up, smiles and expressions of gratitude filled the air, with everyone leaving feeling elated and thankful for the wonderful experience.
