On 17th October, 2024, the Social Service Committee Team of PiMSR hosted a session under Project ‘PANKH’ at Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, focusing on improving reading and vocabulary for students.
The session aimed to enhance English pronunciation and vocabulary, emphasizing the importance of effective communication in academic success. Students began by introducing themselves and sharing their favourite English words, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Activities included revisiting names of animals, fruits, flowers, and colours, which reinforced memory and vocabulary.
For 7th graders, an interactive reading session was followed by engaging games that made learning enjoyable, significantly boosting their pronunciation and speaking skills. Students appreciated the interactive format and the fun games, which added a fun element to their learning experience.
The session was led by MMS students, : Ms. Somali, Mr. Joemon, Mr. Shubham Singhote, Ms. Chaitrali Baravkar, Mr. Aniruddh Virakar, and Ms. Mansi Kamthe whose enthusiasm was instrumental in the event’s success.
