A Session on “Innovation and Start-up Ecosystem Enablers – Rags to Riches… MBA and beyond a – Path to Entrepreneurship” was organized by the Institution Innovation Council of PiMSR on 29th June, 2022. The objective behind the talk is to inspire young minds to dream of being an entrepreneur & the role of enablers in the same. The resource person for the event was Mr. P.D. Shetty, CMD of Supreme Hospitality Pvt. Limited has restaurant outlets at Khar, Thane, Vasai engaging employees around 400 or so. Mr. Shetty started his career as a canteen supervisor rose to a level of CMD by putting in huge efforts into the restaurant business. As a start-up enabler Mr. Shetty spoke about his journey which was full of challenges and how he used various strategies to overcome them. He spoke about the importance of having passion, focus & being people oriented to succeed as a business leader. He emphasized on handling customers extremely well. He narrated his experiences and the role of enablers in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Sixty two management students and five faculty members attended the session.
