The Finance Club of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research organized a Workshop on “Financial Literacy” for all the management students on 29th January, 2024. The speaker at the event was Mr. Ankit Mehta from Fintopedia. With over 14 years of experience in strategizing stock market trades, he brings along with him huge knowledge on managing personal finance and making informed financial decisions. The workshop began its course with a discussion on financial literacy level among individuals in India and how simple financial tricks can play their role in improving one’s financial base. Current trends in the investment world and the reasons why investors lose money in the stock market were also discussed during the workshop. Participants were also informed about the skills and techniques they can use to make sound investment decisions. The session concluded with a Q&A round for the students.
