A research workshop on the topic “Company Analysis Frameworks in Management Research – BCG and Ansoff Analysis” was conducted on Wednesday, 11th May, 2022 by the Research and Monitoring Committee for the management students who are currently doing summer internships. The objective of the session was to help students research and identify the internal factors of a company that have an impact on its overall functioning and that lead to the competitive advantage that they possess. The Company Analysis frameworks that were covered as a part of this seminar were BCG and Ansoff Analysis. Better alignment of internal factors can also be a source of sustained competitive advantage for their organizations in future. These two tools were important to help in product pricing and product differentiation. The session was conducted by Dr. Roopam Gosain and Prof. Priyanka Chatta was well received by students. Dr. Betty Sibil summarized the industry and company analysis by sharing a sample internship report for better understanding of the concepts. The session was attended by 175 students and faculty.
