The students of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PIMSR) and Pillai Business School (PBS) had the unique opportunity to visit the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The visit provided invaluable insights into the functioning of India’s premier stock exchange. The primary objective of this visit was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Indian stock market, its operations, and the role it plays in the economy.
Mr. Mohammad Rasa Mulla, a distinguished professional from the NSE, served as the knowledgeable guide. He began by providing a comprehensive overview of the NSE, its history, and its role in the Indian economy. The students were captivated by his explanations of the various market segments.
The visit to the NSE was an enriching experience as it aimed to provide a holistic learning experience by immersing the students in the world of stock exchange. It provided them with a deeper understanding of the financial markets and the complexities of the stock exchange. The knowledge gained during the visit will undoubtedly be valuable as they pursue careers in the financial industry.
