Mr. Dawood Vaid, Founder of Golden Sparrow Hub Schooling conducted a Session on “Setting and Achieving Life Goals” on 31st August, 2023 at 3.5 p.m. 171 students attended the session. Mr. Dawood Vaid is a Mindset Coach, an educationist and quizzer. He has degrees in Electronics engineering, an MA in Education and an MBA. He left his lavish career as a Patent Attorney in Switzerland, Moscow and Dubai to work on SDG (Sustainable Development Goals Goals) and Skill workshops. He is the Founder of Golden Sparrow Education, an alternative school and online e-school. He loves quizzing and traveling besides being a Game of Thrones fan. In his captivating talk on setting and achieving life goals, with the theme of Chandrayaan 3, Mr. Dawood Vaid not only shared insightful points but also engaged the audience actively. He emphasized the importance of a “soft landing,” highlighting the need for a gentle and calculated approach to our goals. He encouraged the audience to embrace setbacks as opportunities for growth, echoing the mission’s “stop, rethink, and grow” mantra. Just as Chandrayaan 3 required an orbital launch to reach its destination, he stressed the significance of planning and strategizing in our own journeys. The speaker also discussed the potential “moon economy” that awaits those who dare to dream big, emphasizing the value of building a strong team and fostering innovation, echoing the “Make in India” ethos as a symbol of self-reliance and determination. He evoked the spirit of the movie ‘Swades’ (2004) to inspire a sense of purpose and reminded everyone about the importance of managing budgets wisely in both lunar missions and life pursuits. To make the message even more impactful, he held an interactive game where attendees were encouraged to unleash their creativity by doodling anything on 12 circles. This activity served as a metaphor for the importance of creative thinking and innovation in problem-solving, mirroring the ingenuity required in a lunar mission like Chandrayaan 3, underlining the idea that sometimes, unconventional approaches can lead to breakthroughs, just as unique and imaginative doodles can emerge from a blank canvas. The session concluded with the felicitation of the guest by Dr. Celina Joy.
