The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research organized a MIC Driven Activity – Post Budget Webinar 2026–27 titled “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas – Fulfilling Aspirations of People”, featuring the address by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 9th March 2026. The session was conducted online through a live broadcast, and a total of 63 MBA students actively participated in the webinar. The objective of organizing this session was to help students understand the key highlights and policy directions of the Union Budget 2026–27, particularly its implications for economic growth, education, entrepreneurship, and inclusive development. It also aimed to enhance students’ awareness of how government policies influence innovation ecosystems, business opportunities, and national development.

During the session, the Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, highlighting the government’s commitment to inclusive growth, digital transformation, infrastructure development, and support for startups and innovation-led initiatives. Special focus was given to initiatives promoting entrepreneurship, skill development, and strengthening India’s economic foundation through technology-driven reforms. Students were able to gain insights into how budgetary policies align with long-term national goals such as self-reliance, sustainable development, and strengthening India’s global economic position.

The learning outcome of this webinar was that students developed a better understanding of the Union Budget framework and its socio-economic impact on various sectors. The session encouraged students to critically analyze government initiatives, policy reforms, and opportunities emerging from the budget announcements. It also motivated students to think about innovation, entrepreneurship, and responsible citizenship while understanding the role of public policy in shaping India’s future growth and development.
