On 30th January, 2024, the PIMSR Social Service Committee, through the Project PANKH initiative, organized an engaging session on English and games for the students of Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School in Podi.
The session aimed to enhance communication skills, which are crucial for academic success, and provided a supportive and interactive environment for the students to practice and develop their English language abilities.
The session began with the students introducing themselves, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The workshop then focused on expanding the students’ vocabulary, starting with the introduction of new words and their meanings tailored for 7th-grade students.
Additionally, the students learned opposite words, which helped further enrich their language skills. To make the learning experience more enjoyable, games were incorporated into the session, providing a fun and interactive way to reinforce the concepts. These activities not only enhanced memory retention but also made vocabulary building an engaging experience for the students.
The students responded positively to the interactive nature of the session and had a great time participating in the games, which made learning both fun and effective.
The session was conducted by MMS students Ms. Haritha Menon, Ms. Anushka Kharade, Mr. Kunal Karade, and Mr. Avish Billawa, who led the workshop with enthusiasm and dedication.
