Prof. Balashankar Ramdas, Faculty at PiMSR conducted a session on Operations Management for the newly joined students of the MMS programme on 29th August, 2023 at 1.45 p.m. 163 students attended the session. Prof. Balashankar Ramdas is a technocrat who holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Plant) (Honours) degree from the University of Mumbai, a Masters in Administration Management from the University of Mumbai and an MBA in International Business from Alagappa University. He also has a Diploma in International Trade as well as a Diploma in Import Export Management. He has a total work experience of 31 years out of which 16 years were in the industry in prominent organizations like Pidilite Industries, Graphite Industries and Indofil Chemicals and 15 years in academics. At present he works as Assistant Professor and as a course coordinator for the PGDM (Blended) and PGDM (Executive) programs. His main areas of interest are Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Production Management, Quality Management, Marketing & HRM.
