As part of Project PANKH, the Social Service Committee volunteers of PiMSR conducted an engaging educational session on English reading skills and basic grammar at Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi, on 11th September 2025.

The session was designed to suit the learning levels of the students and focused on interactive reading exercises and grammar-based activities. Core grammar concepts such as verbs, vowels, and prepositions were introduced through simple explanations and hands-on learning methods. The primary objective was to make the learning process enjoyable and easy to grasp.

Special emphasis was placed on Grade 6 students, who were guided on the use of prepositions in everyday contexts—particularly in expressing time, place, and direction. Students also participated in group reading sessions, which helped enhance their confidence, pronunciation, and fluency.

The session received an enthusiastic response. Students actively participated, asked questions, and showed a keen interest in learning—demonstrating both curiosity and enjoyment throughout.

The session was effectively led by MMS student volunteers:

  • Ms. Manasi Kamthe
  • Ms. Gauri Chavan
  • Mr. Ahmed Deshmukh

Their dedication and enthusiasm significantly contributed to the success of the initiative.
