As part of Project PANKH, the Social Service Committee volunteers of PiMSR conducted an educational session on English writing skills and basic grammar for the students of Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi, on 23rd January, 2025.
The session aimed to strengthen the English language skills and basics in Mathematics of students across various grades through interactive and engaging activities. Quizzes and games were organized on basic grammar topics such as verbs, vowels, and rhyming words, which kept the students actively involved. These activities were designed to improve their retention and public reading skills. The 5th grade students were enthusiastically taught about prepositions, exploring their use in sentences to enhance their understanding of how words relate to one another in expressing time, place, and direction.
A fun and interactive Rhyming words and Verb game was organized to engage students while improving their grammar skills. The activities encouraged active participation and reinforced grammar fundamentals.
The outcomes of the session were highly encouraging. Students demonstrated significant improvement in their understanding of grammar concepts and actively participated in discussions and exercises.
