As part of Project PANKH, the Social Service Committee volunteers of PiMSR organized an educational session on English writing skills and basic grammar for the students of Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi, on 3rd December, 2024.

For the 5th-grade students, the session focused on reinforcing fundamental grammar concepts, particularly prepositions, through engaging writing exercises. The activities aimed to improve students’ understanding of how prepositions define relationships of time, place, and direction. This revision also reinforced concepts introduced in previous sessions, helping students retain key grammar rules while building their public speaking skills.

For the 7th-grade students, the session centred on Parts of Speech, with a specific emphasis on nouns and verbs. A fun and interactive Noun and Verb game was organized, allowing students to practice grammar in an enjoyable and participatory way. This activity helped solidify their understanding of these key parts of speech while encouraging active involvement.

The outcomes of the session were highly positive. Students showed significant improvement in their grammar comprehension and actively participated in discussions and exercises, demonstrating a clear understanding of the concepts covered.

The session for Class 5 focused on revising basic grammar concepts, particularly prepositions, through writing exercises. The activities aimed to enhance students’ understanding of how prepositions indicate relationships of time, place, and direction. The revision also reinforced the concepts covered in the previous session. Additionally, exercises were designed to improve students’ memory retention and build their public speaking skills.

For Class 7, the session focused on Parts of Speech, with a special emphasis on nouns and verbs. A fun and interactive Noun and Verb game was organized to engage students while improving their grammar skills. The activities encouraged active participation and strengthened grammar fundamentals.

The outcomes of the session were highly encouraging. Students demonstrated significant improvement in their understanding of grammar concepts and actively participated in discussions and exercises.

The session aimed to strengthen the English language skills of students across various grades through interactive and engaging activities. Quizzes and games were organized on basic grammar topics such as verbs, vowels, and consonants, which kept the students actively involved. These activities were designed to improve their retention and public reading skills. The 5th grade students were enthusiastically taught about prepositions, exploring their use in sentences to enhance their understanding of how words relate to one another in expressing time, place, and direction.

The 7th grade students participated in an in-depth lesson on spelling, addressing common errors and exploring homophones to reinforce their language proficiency. A fun and interactive Noun and Verb game was organized to engage students while improving their grammar skills. The activities encouraged active participation and reinforced grammar fundamentals.

The outcomes of the session were highly encouraging. Students demonstrated significant improvement in their understanding of grammar concepts and actively participated in discussions and exercises.
