A Session on “How to build Product Users Love, A Guide for Non-tech Founders” was organised by the Institution Innovation Council of PiMSR on 26th April, 2023 for the students pursuing management studies. The speaker of the session was Mr. Junaid Khan, Founder & CEO of Moocable: a Mumbai-based edtech startup. With a background in Software Engineering, Mr. Khan designs software to make education more accessible and engaging. The objective of the session was to understand the customer’s needs while creating a new product or service. Mr. Khan began the session by showcasing some ways to come up with an idea. He stressed the importance of building something customers would use by simply going out and listening to others and learning about new trends in the world. He explained the various facets of the term Minimum Viable Product (MVP). He emphasised on the different steps for any start up viz. Ideation, MVP, talking to users to get their feedback, finding a co-founder, joining an incubator / accelerator, creating a functioning no product code, bootstrapping and fund raising. Mr. Khan also gave tips on how to make your start up stand out by using a unique tagline. The session was very interesting, informative, interactive and helpful for budding entrepreneurs.
