As part of Project PANKH, the Social Service Committee volunteers of PIMSR conducted an enriching session on 28th November, 2024, at Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School in Podi. The session aimed to improve the students’ foundational knowledge in mathematics, English grammar and reading skills.
The session began with a fun revision activity on self-introduction, followed by an engaging exploration of the basics of English grammar, including parts of speech. The volunteers’ organized interactive games, such as spelling challenges, where students eagerly participated, reinforcing their learning in a dynamic, enjoyable way.
For the 6th-grade students, a variety of activities were designed to enhance their understanding of language skills. Meanwhile, the 7th-grade students tackled basic mathematical problems, with a special focus on identifying and correcting common errors. This approach aimed to strengthen their problem-solving abilities and boost their confidence in mathematics.
The outcomes of the session were highly encouraging, with notable improvements in both grammar and mathematical concepts. The students showed great enthusiasm, actively participating in the activities, demonstrating a growing interest in learning.
