As part of the ongoing Project ‘PANKH’, the Social Service Committee of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PiMSR) organized a learning session on 25th September 2025 at Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi. The initiative focused on enhancing English reading, writing, speaking skills, and reinforcing basic grammar concepts among school students.

The session, led by second-year MMS students Sakshi Mejari, Nissary Prasannan, and Kunal Karade, commenced with a warm and interactive activity for the 7th-grade students. Each student introduced themselves by writing about their hobbies and future aspirations, followed by reading their introductions aloud. This not only strengthened their writing skills but also boosted their confidence in public speaking. Additionally, students recited poems, which further nurtured their fluency and stage presence.

A significant part of the session was dedicated to building vocabulary and reinforcing grammar basics. Students were introduced to synonyms and antonyms through relatable examples, practiced correct spelling techniques, and revisited the concept of prepositions to enhance sentence construction and comprehension.

To make the learning experience more engaging, the volunteers conducted grammar-based quizzes and games, covering topics such as verbs, vowels, and consonants. The students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated a commendable understanding of the concepts.

Overall, the session was met with enthusiastic participation and positive learning outcomes. The students showed noticeable improvement in both comprehension and communication, reinforcing the impact of interactive and student-centric teaching methods.
