On 12th November, 2024, as part of the ‘PANKH’ Project, PiMSR volunteers conducted a session for students at Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School in Podi, focusing on English reading skills and basic grammar.
The session featured a review of antonyms and interactive quizzes and games on grammar rules, engaging 6th-grade students and enhancing their retention and public reading skills. 5th-grade students learned about prepositions, while 7th graders focused on spelling, addressing common errors and homophones.
Overall, the session yielded positive results, with students showing notable improvement in grammar understanding and active participation.
The session was conducted by first year MMS students – Ms. Akshada Rajkar, Ms.Kanchan Patil, Ms.Siddhi Vijay, Ms. Nisary Prasannan, Ms. Avantika Khodke and Ms Avish Billawa.
