As part of Project PANKH, the Social Service Committee volunteers from Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PiMSR) conducted an educational session on English vocabulary and basic mathematics for the students of Grade 7 at Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi, on 18th September 2025.

The session began with an engaging vocabulary activity where students were presented with ten random English words. They were encouraged to guess the meanings and write them down in their notebooks. This interactive exercise not only expanded their vocabulary but also boosted their confidence as many students responded correctly and enthusiastically participated in the activity.

Following the vocabulary segment, a basic mathematics session was conducted, focusing on multiplication tables from 1 to 12. Students were asked to recite and solve problems based on these tables. Their enthusiastic responses and eagerness to participate demonstrated a strong grasp of basic mathematical concepts. The session created a lively classroom environment where students actively engaged in both language and numerical learning.

The session was conducted by MMS Semester III students — Mr. Avish Billawa, Ms. Samra Khan, and Ms. Sampada Pakhide — who ensured that the learning experience was interactive, inclusive, and enjoyable. Overall, the session was a success in reinforcing fundamental skills in English and Maths while encouraging student confidence and classroom participation.
