As part of Project ‘PANKH’ by the Social Service Committee of PIMSR, a Session on “English Grammar and Vocabulary” was conducted on 1st October 2025 at Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi. The initiative aimed to introduce and reinforce basic vocabulary and grammar concepts, create a safe space for English expression, and promote interactive, game-based learning for better retention.

The session, led by MMS student Ms. Haritha Menon, a second-year MMS student, marked a collaborative milestone as MBA students Ms. Yashasvi Ghagas and Mr. Prasad Mhatre participated in the Podi school PANKH project for the first time. They are now being mentored to take the baton from their seniors and will be trained to conduct such sessions independently by the new team of MBA junior students for this and the next academic year.

The session began with student introductions followed by an engaging activity on opposite words. To make learning enjoyable, a vocabulary-based fill-in-the-blanks game was conducted, encouraging students to think critically and apply their learning in real time.

This approach helped improve their understanding of word usage, boosted their confidence in speaking, and developed cognitive skills like memory and logical reasoning. The session created a joyful learning experience that sparked curiosity and active participation among the students.

Overall, it served as a valuable step toward strengthening the students’ language foundations and supporting their academic growth. The enthusiastic response of the children reflected the positive impact of the initiative, reaffirming Project ‘PANKH’’s commitment to empowering young minds through meaningful educational outreach.
